Wow, had lots o pizza with some friends.
1) Blue with pepperoni (last time was Blue + sauasge)
2) Eggplant (Eggplant tapenade, capers, kalamata olives, Parmesan)
3) Margherita
4) Potatoes and Goat cheese.
5) Subterranean (Caramelized onion, fontina, mushrooms, roasted potatoes, basil)
My faves were Blue with pepperoni (yet again) and the potatoes with goat cheese. The eggplant pizza was just weird, didn’t like the odd flavors in there.

It took me awhile to finally get some friends to House Pizzeria. Mike Sutter at the Austin Statesman gave some high marks to this joint on Airport Blvd. The recent hot press meant longer waits. It took a little over an hour to get our pizza. Hot damn.
Despite the wait, server was super friendly. We chose to sit outside on the benches and was deep into nightfall when we finished our food. Four pizzas here. The winner was the “Blue Pizza” with sausage added. Crust was great, check out the charring on the bottom! Was looking forward to the margherita, but was just ok. All good pizzas. Oh, and get the root beer!
