Had a 10″ pepperoni. Overall, the taste reminds me of Hungry Howie’s, which I loved as a kid growing up in Michigan. Austin’s pizza has a great selection of specialty pizzas, all named after iconic landmarks in ATX, such as “Barton springs”. The pizza defnitely has a “chain” feel and taste to it. By which I mean, soft crust, oily and spongy in places, tasty sauce and ingredients. Like I said, it’s kind of a cross between hungry howie’s and pizza hut minus the flavored crusts. This combination I know some people would love. For me, I’d prefer CraigO’s for local chain-type pizza.
