What you can tell from a person by how they eat their pizza

Ok, maybe you can’t tell a lot from how a person consumes a slice of pizza. And really, there is no wrong way to eat a pizza. There is no breaking pizza etiquette (although I heard some restaurants detest using ranch as a dipping condiment for pizza — I personally LOVE ranch+hot sauce on takeout pizza).

You can fold it, triple fold it, start from the crust, eat it sideways, pick off the toppings, let the cheese slide off and just eat the crust and sauce, sandwich two slices together, use a fork and knife, eat pizza cold, sprinkle Parmesan and/or red pepper…it goes on. If you like pizza, you like pizza. And I high five you for that.

For me, I find myself eating most slice unfolded until maybe about 2/3’s. Then I fold it and eat the rest. You can taste more of the pizza toppings, cheese, sauce, etc. when it is unfolded. That’s how I do it.

How about you?
